CPR, AED and Basic First Aid
In a medical emergency, the most critical minutes are the ones before first responders arrive. Whether you are in the workplace, at home, or in a public space, having the skills to intervene effectively can be the difference between life and death.
The HSI CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid course is a comprehensive, scenario-based training program designed for individuals who want to be prepared for the unexpected. This course is nationally recognized and follows the latest high-quality CPR guidelines. You will move beyond theory to gain hands-on experience in life-saving techniques, including high-compression CPR for adults, children, and infants, as well as the proper operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
In addition to cardiac arrest response, this course provides a robust foundation in Basic First Aid. We cover a wide spectrum of emergency care, from treating minor wounds and burns to managing life-threatening bleeding, choking, and sudden illnesses. Our goal is to build your "response muscle memory" so that in a high-stress moment, you can act with clarity, confidence, and competence. This course is ideal for workplace safety teams, caregivers, and any citizen who wants to be a true "first responder" in their own community.
